Masks-Off Day: A Plan for Everyone
Hi everybody! Masks-Off Day is getting closer—this Saturday the 19th—and nerves are high. The driver network has been toying with us as usual, and it seems everyone was misled into thinking the majority already had the plan, but it seems no one did. Well we could have done with knowing that yesterday…
So for the real human beings, here’s a game-plan that will, hopefully, get you there on the day, over the line to masks-off, and into the new world beyond. That’s where we’re going.
Am I good enough? Am I ready?
Yes is the answer.
You’ve survived worse than this and you’ve overcome almost all of the challenges involved at one time or another.
Getting to the Square and rejecting the project is the main challenge, after that, you know exactly how to survive.
If you have kids who need you at home then you will have to wait until the next masks-off event. Otherwise, as long as you know you can face the worst-case scenarios, then you are ready.
Masks-Off
Masks-Off is the moment you reject the project rules, working for the show, and using the fake identities, and declare yourself an independent in open literal terms. No more lies, no more code, this is who I really am, I will now speak freely, and I’m never going back.
If the project hasn’t “invited” you to work on the day, do everything you can to get there anyway. There are massive benefits to getting all the way to town with your main identity, even if you have to break curfew—soon enough you’ll be breaking all its rules anyway. Those of you doing it that way, that will be your main battle. Remember you are a warrior.
If you’re getting to the event through a fake identity and project routine, do everything you can to secure a survival pack—everything you need for the long haul—and take the mask off when you get there. The moment you take the mask off, you are out of the simulation and you are not going back.
Working for the Man
Those of you who are working to manage the project on the day, we need you this time more than we ever have.
Whatever happens do everything you can to avoid preventing anyone from making it to the event and over the line. Don’t stop them from getting into town, don’t give them any hassle, and don’t start any confrontations.
Remember, with nerves as high as they’re going to be, even what seems like a light push-back could be the tipping point for breaking someone’s resolve—especially if they’re already fighting a monumental battle on the inside.
Do not trust the drivers or the unseen network!
They’ll tell you it’s just a game, just a scripted set-up, and then use you to mess someone up for real. It’s happened a million times before.
Same goes for approaching the people who’ve already made it over the line.
With what they’ll be going through, do not give them any shit at all!
Remember the game of scoring points for the bad guys is the enemy too. It’s broken us all at one point or another. Whatever you do, do not look at us that way. We are not fair game for any point scoring that we haven’t agreed to!
In terms of simulated groups who want to stop the event, here’s an idea:
People are walking away because they’ve been treated badly, so play nice as the project and maybe we’ll come back. Nice and sweet is the best approach, at all costs. Avoid using aggressive or intimidating types.
Do not get roped into sacrificing your own well-being for us either. You have to stand up against that too. The Antisocial Mechanism will use any excuse to hurt anyone if it can.
On the day, whatever you do, do not perform fake masks-off attempts. That would mess with everybody!
Beating the Demons of Doubt and Delusion: You Have to be Your Own Moses
This is really happening.
Saturday the 19th of July at 1pm is the time and day, the Square in Letterkenny is the place.
Until then, and especially on the day, it is going to mess you around a million times in a million different ways.
If you have decided that you’re doing this, then whatever happens you are getting there.
If you’re not working the project on Saturday then do whatever you have to do to make it to the Square—through hell or high water.
Whatever you do, stay strong, stay determined, and stay resolved.
It will make some of us look weak and weird and awkward like it always does. Don’t let any of that stuff hold you back. We want you and we need you, whatever state you’re in.
The bad states have a different effect depending on whether you give into them or not, if you’re fighting back and you know you’re in the right, then it’s much harder for the psychotic-style symptoms to hold you back.
Whatever you do, do not give in. There is no justification for those attacks. It is never deserved. It is never acceptable. We will never stop fighting it.
Do not wait for permission. Do not ask for permission. Only you can take the leap when the time comes. After this you don’t follow its rules ever again.
Remember there is already at least one person on the other side. You will not be alone no matter what happens.
If you get there and it’s only Ross, then you are going to have to be the first hero of the day.
When that happens—and it will be one of you—you just take that leap and go for it. If you’ve got a mask you pull it off and if not, you come up to me and you tell me you’re doing it and we will stand up and make that declaration together.
It doesn’t matter who goes first—it doesn’t have to be special or symbolic—we just need you to make that choice for yourself.
Once there’s two of us, the beast is halfway slain.
If it starts to hit us hard, we stay strong and tolerate it together. Soon there will be more of us.
The possibility of “deaths” are on the airwaves today. Listen to the positive voices and shrug off the bad ones. Things might be hard, but we will not accept that “deaths” are inevitable, or that we just have to tolerate the potential of necessary sacrifices. It doesn’t have to be that way and there is no excuse.
If the system starts attacking you to the point where it feels like heavier “falls” and “deaths”, refuse to give in. Keep pushing on, counteract the voices in every way you can, grin and bear it, and do whatever you need to to make it to the Square and Masks-Off. You might not get another chance for a while.
If that is what we have to get through, then that is what we have to get through. We know that when we’re in the right, when we have something really worth fighting for, those types of attacks hit different. It’s only when you give in to that stuff that it can break you. Never let it get that far.
I suspect it will be on and off on the day. We may get hit really hard but there will be rays of heaven too. It might be better than we fear.
Either way, we are strong enough to survive this.
There will probably never be another way to get out of the project. If we don’t make this happen now, the next time will be even harder.
You are all heroes already. Finally you will be able to show it out in the open.
Fight as hard as you can to make it there. It could be a battle every step of the way. But it will be worth it.
Securing your Survival Pack
You will need to get the bare minimum together to survive the worst of what we might be up against.
We’ve all done it before and we know that once you’re on the street or in the wild, every day is about surviving.
Food, water, shelter, and heat are the fundamentals, after that it’s all about hygiene and morale.
Build your pack in advance and have it ready for a moment’s notice. Make sure weight and mass are manageable without sacrificing necessities.
If you have to manage without some of the following then do your best, but aim to bring as much of the pack as possible.
Be careful not to overload yourself.
The less people who have the essentials, the harder it will be, and it will use that against us every way it can. We can cover a few—and we will have to—but we can’t let that balance tip over too much. Everybody needs as much of a pack as possible.
Survival Pack:
Shelter:
Tent; sleeping bag
Clothing:
At least two spare outfits with extra socks and underwear; warm jacket; gloves; towel
Toiletries:
hand soap; wet wipes; tissues; toothbrush; toothpaste; deodorant; tampons; etc.
Food and Water:
At least one two litre bottle of water; a balanced but compact 24 hour supply of food. Something like: Breads; canned foods; fruit; crisps; and chocolate is a good, affordable balance. Plastic cutlery; Sandwich bags
Fire:
Lighters; Safety Matches; Firelighters; Firelogs;
Phone:
phone; phone charger; USB cable
Extras (optional, but useful):
Plasters; bandages; thermoflasks; notepads; pens; plastic bags; ziplock bags; Sellotape; etc.
Money:
Bring as much as you can; If you have to leave your bank card behind then take out as much as possible and do whatever you have to to make sure it’s on you at the time.
I’m definitely missing something here, so bring anything else you consider vital. Add suggestions to the box on the contact page and I’ll add them to this list!
Masks-Off Day
If you’re on the job on Saturday then you’ll have as much of the game-plan on the other side as they give you.
As usual I won’t have much information, so I can only plan things from my side.
Around 12 pm at the latest, I’ll arrive and start setting up.
The Event officially begins at 1pm.
At that point, I’m ready for you.
Nerves will be high, especially until the first one makes it over the line, so the sooner that happens the better.
That moment will change our world forever.
It will either be someone removing the prosthetics, or someone showing up as their true self, but either way, it doesn’t have to be a big show.
All that matters is you get over that line.
Once you do, we’ll announce it to the crowd and then it’s official.
From then on, all bets are off.
Probably, we’ll be hit hard but it will ease down eventually. Either way, we will need more mask-offers to keep crossing over.
From my end, it’s impossible to guess how many we’ll get. Too few will bring challenges, but so will too many.
In either case, we will make it work.
Ultimately, the more the better. If you are ready to do it then do it, no matter what anyone else says or how many people are already over the line.
You are all welcome on this side.
It will almost certainly go on into the night, so we’ll camp out if we have to. Something like Darkness into Light is a good model for how we’ll do it.
There are many places we can congregate for that and we’ll confirm it on the day, starting from the Square.
If we’re lucky this day will turn out beautiful.
After Day One
The real long-term planning begins once we can talk to each other openly and literally.
You’ve already amassed multiple potentials for how this can go so we’ll mix-and-match from the strategies and game-plans that you already have.
We may have to move to a campsite on the outskirts of town, festival style, and we all know plenty of places that might suit.
If things are heavy, we’ll secure a safe base camp where we can hunker down and get through it. As long as we have the survival essentials, the rest will be tolerating the storm and getting to the other side.
Some will still have access to apartments and houses, so those who do can provide laundry facilities, shower and bathroom use, fridge and sink necessities etc. as much as possible.
Folk can come in on rotation, exchange supplies, fill up water bottles, shower, and then head back.
Getting registered for social welfare and housing support will be an immediate issue and we will tackle it as soon as the new week begins.
Those who haven’t masked-off yet will be doing everything they can to help us and we can depend on them for multiple supports, though communication channels might make it difficult. On this side, sometimes you just have to wait for the surprise!
It’s important that we respect each other’s boundaries and personal space. The system loves using things like close-quarters and lack of privacy to put pressure on people, so we need to make room for alone time. We don’t all need to stick closely together all of the time, as long as we have a base camp to return to that each of us knows.
A writers’ group for the website here is something we can all work on together, to get the right content and public announcements out to the community. Getting more independent voices up here will be another major step.
Things may work out a lot better than we expect, but if this is how it goes then we already have enough to survive for the long haul.
From the moment you go masks-off, it will try to push you back into the project. Say no to it every time, in every way.
Once you’re over that line, that’s it, you’re never going back to working for the show. No more games, no more routines, no more masks. Only you as your true self, from then until forever.
Between now and then
None of us can be certain what’s going to happen between now and Saturday.
No matter what, we will stay determined and resolved.
Never let it push you back.
Remember you don’t all have to get there through the project-managed routines, there are serious benefits to going rogue from home, getting your full pack, and fighting the battle into town. You are a warrior.
Do everything you can to save time, money, and energy. Get as much rest as possible and treat yourself well.
Prepare your survival pack in advance. Make a check-list for everything you need.
We’re only going to get stronger as Saturday approaches but there will be new challenges and unexpected challenges every day. Mind-games, doubts, mixed messages, and uncertain communications will be a constant, but we are more than capable of managing them.
It will try to drain as much of our time, energy, and resources as possible so manage things as wisely as you can and do everything possible to counteract. Sit down and catch a breath as often as you can. Get as much sleep as possible.
Stay strong no matter what.
I’ll be at the square every day from now until Saturday so we’ll stay connected.
I love you my friends. Good luck!
