Notes on the Wall of Silence and The Suffering Economy

The following is written in a positive and literal style. If it seems otherwise, it’s because of driver interference. Watch out for valence and tone!

Hi everybody!

I hope you’re all doing good today. We’re coming to the end of the summer and we’re getting closer and closer to where we need to be. It hasn’t been easy and things are as weird as they’ve ever been, but there are a lot of positives to focus on.

The big power up there is showing more of its hand every day, throwing its own game, dropping the act, and revealing more of how things really are.

It doesn’t deserve our respect, it doesn’t deserve our obedience, and it isn’t even trying to hide it any more.

It’s pretty clear that it wants you to stand up against it. It wants you to assert your rights and your individuality, both for yourself and for our wider society. If you do so the right way—as ethically, sanely, and strategically as possible—you are likely to succeed.

It’s a cruel and insane opponent, but ultimately it is going to let us win.

I’ve included some important notes on The Wall of Silence and the Suffering Economy below. As for the Strategies of Overt Resistance, I’m going to add some preparatory strategies later in the week, the very basics of how to begin making a plan to use the approaches that will hopefully work better with where you are at the moment, before continuing with the Fighting for Reality strategies.

My schedule for the coming week is at the end of the page. If things are quiet, or there are any unexpected distractions, I might skip a few days, but for now, I think it would be good to get as much contact for opening channels of literal communication as possible.

Look after yourselves, stay strong, and remember:

The fight for a more prosocial and open way of making change happen is one that we are supposed to win.

It’s worth betting on!

Dismantling the Wall of Silence and Opening Channels of Literal Communication

The Wall of Silence has two main components:

  • The project claims that nobody is allowed to speak freely, truthfully, or openly.
  • The project claims that the only way you’re allowed to communicate is through code, metaphor, symbolic enactments, the driver network, and driver keys.

The problem is the project methods don’t really work for proper open communication.

In fact they prevent open communication from even being possible at all.

Relying on code, metaphor, symbolic enactments, the driver network, and driver keys to communicate is the Wall of Silence in action.

Speaking freely, truthfully, and literally about actual reality is building open channels of literal communication.

A voice can be used for building one or the other.

Do everything you can to avoid using the Wall of Silence methods in as many ways as you can.

Work to put literal and true speech into action, out in the open, and you will be changing the world.

Truth, Freedom, and Reality versus The Suffering Economy

Paying with pain and trading hurtful behaviours for your goals, or for permission to get what you want, doesn’t really work.

The Suffering Economy is a con. Even when you agree to suffer for it, the only truly dependable result is that more suffering is created.

You are just as likely to get nothing for your suffering as anything else, no matter what the drivers promised or manipulated you into going along with.

These suffering-based deals and transactions don’t actually pay for anything, even though the drivers lie and say they do.

Often they make it seem like things work out on the Suffering Economy, but when you look back, you realise that most of the time things didn’t really work out that way at all.

I know the project is always tricking people into thinking they’re helping my work by agreeing to suffer to “buy” help for me.

Or agreeing to put me myself through suffering—without my knowledge or consent—so that I can be “allowed” to achieve my goals.

All of that is based on a very big lie. The Suffering Economy doesn’t even work the way the drivers claim.

If you agree to those fake transactions, all you are really doing is agreeing to more suffering.

While I really do appreciate everything you have done and suffered in trying to help, you must never agree to suffer for my work.

Similarly, if they ask you to agree to the project making me myself suffer in exchange for my goals, you must refuse.

Let me handle my own operations on the Suffering Economy and please don’t get involved.

I can negotiate my own arrangements. In fact, I don’t even have to, because I know the Suffering Economy is a false system.

Pain and suffering is not a currency and it doesn’t buy or create anything in this world. All it really does is create more suffering.

Tell them: “let Ross make his own deals, but we’re not getting involved!”

The following is extremely important to remember:

  • The only true reliable result of doing symbolic jobs in simulations is that more time and energy is wasted.
  • The only true reliable result of trying to pay for your goals with suffering is that more misery is created.
  • When you do constructive things in actual reality that is how most of the positive changes in our world actually take place.
  • Most of the worthwhile changes that you have fought for have been because of the constructive efforts that you have made and not because of simulated efforts or paying-with-pain.
  • The cause and effect of doing things the right way for the right reasons is what really makes the difference.
  • Focus on constructive methods in actual reality. Reject symbolic and simulated jobs, reject metaphor and code speak. Instead apply your cause-and-effect endeavours to true reality and open literal communications.

When it comes to trading suffering for our goals, the drivers will have half the town thinking they’re suffering to pay to help with a certain situation.

Hundreds of people all at once, who might think they’re the only ones sacrificing themselves, will be “paying” for the same thing.

And then that situation doesn’t even work out in the end anyway, because they didn’t actually pay for anything!

It’s not an economy, it’s a lie.

You should never agree to trade suffering—whether yours or anybody else’s—for any reason!

Refuse to participate in the Suffering Economy and, please, let me manage my own operations for myself!
